Assemblage on board by Albert M. Fine, gifted to gallerist Robert Buecker (Buecker & Harpsichords). Signed, dated and inscribed to verso [Albert M Fine 70] [for Robert B and Charles Happy New Year 1971].

Albert M. Fine (1932-1987), was a composer, artist, and poet, gaining recognized primarily for his foundational involvement with Fluxus. He emerged as a leading exponent of the Mail-Art movement, extensively collaborating with the late Ray Johnson. Fine's cross-disciplinary artistic activities also linked him with other experimental figures, including George Maciunas, Philip Glass, John Cage, and Allen Ginsberg. The Museum of Modern Art holds an extensive collection of Fine's work.
